Introducing RHNS

One registration, two names: yourname.rbh on Robinhood Chain and yourname.rname.eth in every ENS-aware wallet.

Nobody should have to remember 42 hexadecimal characters to get paid. RHNS is a naming service built for Robinhood Chain that turns addresses into names people can actually type, and it launches with a twist: every registration gives you two names for the price of one.

One registration, two names

When you register a name, say jonah, you receive it in two forms backed by a single onchain record. The first is jonah.rbh, the native name displayed across the RHNS ecosystem. The second is jonah.rname.eth, an ENS-compatible twin that resolves today in MetaMask and every wallet that speaks ENS. Same owner, same records, always in sync, because they are the same registration viewed through two lenses.

How the ENS side works

ENS lives on Ethereum mainnet; your name lives on Robinhood Chain. We bridge the two with ENSIP-10 wildcard resolution and CCIP-read (ERC-3668), the same architecture behind cb.id and uni.eth. When a wallet asks Ethereum about your name, the resolver directs it to the RHNS gateway, which answers from the registry and signs the response. The resolver contract verifies that signature onchain, so a wallet never has to trust the gateway blindly. No per-name mainnet gas, full wallet compatibility.

Registration that cannot be front-run

Registration is a two-step commit and reveal flow. Your first transaction publishes only a hash, reserving the name without revealing it; after a short security wait, the second transaction completes the purchase. Nobody watching the chain can see what you searched and snipe it. Prices are set in dollars (five dollars a year for names of five characters or more, with premiums for shorter ones) and paid in ETH at the live rate.

What a name gives you

A name is an onchain record you alone control, not an entry in our database. Attach an address, links, social handles, and other records; set it as your primary name so apps show it instead of your hex address; renew it for up to ten years at a time; transfer it to any address with one transaction. If it ever expires, a 90-day grace period protects you before the name returns to open availability.
